New Zealand: It’s Offensively Beautiful
As many of you know, for the past few months I have been studying abroad in the offensively beautiful New Zealand. It has been an absolute whirlwind of adventure from the first weekend to now. I have met so many amazing people from all over the world, and I’m so happy I took advantage of the opportunity to come down here. As I study for finals, I’ve been looking back over my time here as well as look forward to the six weeks of adventuring that I will be doing following finals. I can’t wait to keep exploring in this beautiful country, and meet more of the amazing people that call this country home. I’m not ready to leave, and I’m really excited to be able to share this country in the coming weeks with my mom, sister and boyfriend. Expect to see a followup post in about six weeks with the rest of my adventures, including canyon swinging, ziplining, the Tongariro Crossing and many other hikes.
- Rangitoto Island, an extinct volcano just off the coast of Auckland.
- The SkyTower in downtown Auckland
- On the drive up the Coromandel Peninsula
- Bay of Islands, New Zealand
- Richie McCaw, captain of the All Blacks with the Webb Ellis Cup! World Rugby Champions!
- Dolphin in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand
- Even got over to Australia for a bit to stop by Steve Irwin’s Zoo! Childhood dream of mine fulfilled.
- I even got to snuggle a few Kangaroos while I was there!
- 3 rows up for the Rugby World Cup game between England and Scotland.
